Certain shopping topics can really polarize the masses (raise your hand if you've ever been in a heated discussion about Crocs). The latest debate in our Skimm Shopping group chat: Are the jelly sandals from our childhood good for summer (and appropriate for adults, nonetheless)? We’re breaking down two wearable options that are easy to style:

Why we love them: Melissa is famous for its jelly-based shoes, and we’d argue that these are the easiest to wear because of the classic thong silhouette. If you’re wanting an attainable jelly sandal that isn’t overly trendy and will last for multiple seasons, go with these.

Why we love them: This cage-like silhouette is what you’ll be seeing pretty much everywhere this summer. While the style is bold, we think of them as an everyday statement shoe that can be worn instead of sneakers, flats, or regular sandals. They come in four colors (and are currently 40% off), but we’re eyeing the tomato red shade.
